158 West 27th StreetLobby, NYC
Built in the 1920’s, this building’s lobby was small and badly designed. The design goal was to create a spacious, “historically appropriate” entry for a building in an area of New York being gentrified and attracting new professional and commercial tenants. Rich, durable materials were introduced. Architectural details present on the existing building façade were introduced into the lobby to create an environment that looks original to the building. |
