TPDE is seeking full-time, self-motivated, responsible architects and designers to join our creative team for the following positions:
Senior Project Architect
Candidate Requirements:
- Candidates must have a BArch degree (MArch Degree a plus) and 6-8 years relevant experience (Registered Architect a plus)
- Ability to develop and manage individual projects from Schematic Design thru Construction and Project Close-out
- Ability to manage small team of junior staff
- Ability to work as a contributing team member
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Must be self-motivated
- Good organization and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to explore new technologies/ materials etc.
- Ability to develop technical details and review/redline Construction Documents & Shop Drawings
- Knowledge of NYC / ICC / UBC Building and Zoning Codes & Permitting Process
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2004 or newer, Architectural Desktop 2004 or newer, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Fluent in English
The candidate should display a high degree of self-sufficiency and independence. He/she should be able to work on a project from its inception until its completion with little to no supervision. In addition, he/she will be self-motivated and possess a quick, alert eye for detail. Responsibilities include: project management, project scheduling, coordination with clients, consultants and contractors, drafting, budgeting, materials research, and the design and preparation of construction documents.
2D & 3D Renderer/Modeler - Junior Architect
Candidate Requirements:
- Candidates must have a BArch degree and 3-4 years relevant experience
- Ability to manage individual projects
- Ability to work as a contributing team member
- Must be self-motivated
- Good organization and communication skills
- Excellent, creative presentation and visualization skills
- Sensitivity for design oriented projects and sustainability issues, as well as great graphic skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience with detailing and construction documents
- Proficient in 3D Studio Max, Autodesk Viz, AutoCAD 2004 or newer, Architectural Desktop 2004 or newer, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Fluent in English
The candidate should have 2D and 3D modeling and rendering experience and display a high degree of self-sufficiency and independence. He/she should be able to work on a project with a team from its inception until its completion with little supervision. In addition, he/she will be self-motivated and possess a quick, alert eye for detail. Responsibilities include: 2D & 3D Modeling and Rendering (Hand and Computer), drafting, coordination with consultants and contractors, materials research, and the design and preparation of construction documents. |
